Forecast and Planning

Utilize and interpret retailers’ forecasting systems. Analyze weekly in-stock reports and work with retailers and manufacturers to ensure the correct levels are maintained. Manage weekly orders and communicate shipping details to ensure our retailer’s expectations are being met. Assist in the utilization, interpretation and understanding of retailer’s online systems — ie, POL and Supervalu Harbor.

Category Management

Analyze category sales, market share, brand performance and make recommendations to buyer. Utilize Pro Space software to systematically build plan-o-grams for retailer. Assist buyers and manufacturers with sales planning by conducting routine opportunity and gap analysis.

Opportunity Planning

Provide merchandising and product recommendation to maximize sales and product distribution. Insure that your products are competitively priced at retail. Work with buyers to secure promotional displays whenever possible.

Trend / Merchandising and New Product Recommendation

Regularly attend industry tradeshows.
